A founding member of Studio Phoenix in 2002, Ray Snyder is an illustrator, printmaker, three dimensional artist, and writer who also co-founded Jolly Roger Studio in 1994. A lengthy and diverse career has allowed him a wide variety of artistic pursuits. From an early start as art and advertising editor of a local magazine at age 19, through many intervening years of gallery shows, gaming illustration, production and advertising art & design, Ray has become best known in comics as an inker.

Ray's portfolio includes work on almost every iconic comic book hero, as well as co-creation of LAZARUS 5 for DC Comics, DR. STRANGE: THE FLIGHT OF BONES for Marvel Knights, THE MUMMY product style guide for Universal City Studios, and the "Animator" Chevy Truck animated commercial for Cambell-Ewald and Chevrolet Truck Division.

These days Ray is spending his days with DC's leading lady, WONDER WOMAN.
